Jan Bartlett-Hicks, a licensed Interior Designer, Andrew McCauley, a licensed Architect, Tim Dowty, an architect, and Rachel Schell a Designer had determined there was a business opportunity for a combination Architectural and Interior Design Services firm. Thus creating Hicks, Dowty, McCauley & Schell Inc. (HDMS inc).
In 2007 the old Malneck Building located in the Argenta Art District of North Little Rock was purchased and renovated to house the headquarters of HDMS, inc.
In 2009 HDMS, inc registered to perform work with the Federal Government as a Woman Owned Small Business.
In 2011 John Sanders, joined HDMS, Inc to market in his experienced field of K-12 School Architecture.
Jan Bartlett-Hicks is a licensed Arkansas interior designer. Further, she has also performed real estate brokerage services through the Bartlett-Hicks Enterprises/Realty firm.
Andrew McCauley is a registered Architect in the State of Arkansas with reciprocal rights in many states and is affiliated with the American Institute of Architects and a LEED accredited professional.
Tim Dowty designs restaurants, convenience stores, K-12, Federal work, other retail oriented projects, and has also gained additional experience coordinating construction activities, with contractors, of these same projects.
John Sanders is a licensed Arkansas architect. John participates in the marketing and design of K-12 Schools.
